At our resort, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of the kitchen brigade, you will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality dishes that showcase your creativity and flair.
As a senior chef, you will lead by example and mentor junior chefs in the preparation of menu items, ensuring that all dishes meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, adhering to food safety and handling procedures at all times.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare and present menu items that meet our high standards of quality and presentation
- Lead by example and mentor junior chefs in the preparation of menu items
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to food safety and handling procedures
- Experience working in a commercial kitchen
- Demonstrated knife skills and ability to efficiently prepare large quantities of mise en place
- Completion of Food Safety/Food Handling course preferred
