About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our kitchen team at a 5-star resort located in the heart of Australia's Red Centre.

As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of quality and profitability. Your ultimate goal will be to provide excellent products and services to our guests while driving sustainable and profitable outlets.

The successful candidate will have a Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery and extensive experience in 5-star restaurant operations. You will work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure the kitchen is smoothly and efficiently run, and undertake all kitchen and service duties including cleaning, food preparation, cookery and guest service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the senior chefs with menu planning, inventory control, scheduling, ordering of kitchen supplies;
  • Work closely with the Executive Chef to ensure the kitchen is smoothly and efficiently run;
  • Undertake all kitchen and service duties including cleaning, food preparation, cookery and guest service;
