Work Description:

We are seeking a skilled tradesperson to assist in the construction of outdoor structures, including pergolas and decks. This is a full-time position that requires a high level of motivation, initiative, and a willingness to learn.

The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out a range of tasks, including construction, maintenance, and repairs. They will also be required to work safely, adhering to all relevant regulations and guidelines.

The ideal candidate will have experience working in the construction industry, but on-the-job training will be provided. Essential qualifications include a white card, asbestos awareness certification, and silica exposure prevention certificate. A driver's licence is also required, as jobs are located throughout Canberra.

Job Details:

  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
  • Rate of Pay: $28 - $35 per hour (based on experience)
  • Schedule: 8-hour day shift
  • Supplementary Pay: Overtime pay will be paid
  • Ability to Commute/Relocate: Yes, relocation to the Canberra area is required
