We are seeking an experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team in the Mental Health Division at Austin Health.
As a key member of our team, you will provide comprehensive psychiatric services to young people, their families and carers/support networks in the Inpatient and Youth Brief Intervention Service Teams.
You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care and support to our patients, and contribute to the development of our mental health services.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing evidence-based psychiatric services to young people and their families/carers
- Collaborating with our multidisciplinary team to develop and implement treatment plans
- Mentoring and supervising junior staff members
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- A medical qualification recognized by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or equivalent postgraduate specialist qualification
- RANZCP Certificate of Advanced Training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry or equivalent
