We have a highly supportive and collaborative team culture based on Austin Health values. The Infant Child & Youth Mental Health Service (ICYMHS) offers multiple teams servicing the north-eastern catchment of Melbourne Metropolitan areas.
As the Consultant Psychiatrist, you will provide comprehensive and high-quality evidence-based psychiatric services to young people, their families, and carers/support networks in the Inpatient and Youth Brief Intervention Service Teams.
To be successful in this role, you must:
- Be a Registered Medical Practitioner in Australia with AHPRA
- Hold Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists or equivalent postgraduate specialist qualification
- RANZCP Certificate of Advanced Training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, or equivalent. Psychiatrists with significant experience in Youth Psychiatry will be considered for the role focused on young people aged 12-25 years.
