Technical Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Analyst to join our team at Robert Walters Australia. As a Technical Analyst, you will play a critical role in breaking down complex business requirements into actionable insights and solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Requirements Gathering & Analysis: Engage with stakeholders across various departments to elicit, analyze, and document business needs and context.
- Solution Design & Evaluation: Collaborate with architects and engineers to design technical solutions that meet business needs while adhering to architectural principles and best practices. Evaluate potential solutions and make recommendations based on feasibility, cost, and scalability.
- Data Collection & Management: Collaborate with stakeholders to identify data requirements and sources. Implement robust data collection processes, ensuring data accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
- Data Analysis & Visualization: Leverage your analytical skills to extract meaningful insights from complex datasets. Employ statistical techniques and data visualization tools to uncover trends, patterns, and correlations. Communicate your findings in a clear and concise manner through reports, dashboards, and presentations.
- Insight Generation & Recommendation: Translate data analysis into actionable insights and recommendations. Identify opportunities for product enhancements, process improvements, and cost savings. Collaborate with teams to implement data-driven solutions.
- Performance Tracking & Reporting: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of digital initiatives. Provide regular reports and dashboards to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and measure the impact of data-driven optimizations.
- Data Storytelling: Communicate complex data findings in a compelling and accessible way, tailored to different audiences. Tell data-driven stories that inform and inspire action.
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience in a technical analyst or similar role, preferably in a retail or technology environment.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to decompose complex problems into manageable components and develop solutions.
- Technical Proficiency: Solid understanding of software development methodologies, system architecture, and data management principles.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to translate technical concepts into clear and concise language for non-technical stakeholders.
- Detail-Oriented: Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
