Job Description: As an Apprentice Horticulturist with Green by Nature, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in maintaining native gardens and sports fields. You will work alongside seasoned professionals and attend weekly classroom learning sessions to develop your skills and knowledge.

Responsibilities:

  • Maintain native gardens and sports fields to ensure their beauty and functionality.
  • Participate in regular safety training programs and equipment operation.
  • Learns plant care and maintenance, plant nutrition programs, pest and disease management, irrigation systems installation and maintenance, and specialist transplanting, pruning and mowing operations.

Requirements:

  • No prior experience required.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Valid Working With Vulnerable People Check (or be willing to obtain one).
  • Valid White Card (or be willing to obtain one).
