Embark on a rewarding learning journey as an Apprentice Horticulturist. Based at our client’s site, the **University of Canberra**, you will be responsible for maintaining native gardens and sports fields. Our client is committed to sustainability and the site has received numerous awards. In addition to your hands-on work in maintaining green spaces, you will also **attend weekly classroom learning sessions**.

This four-year apprenticeship offers hands-on training under expert mentors, equipping you with valuable skills and a **nationally recognised trade qualification**. You will progress to take on roles as a Team Leader or Site Manager, ready to lead with confidence.

**What You'll Learn**:

- Plant care and maintenance
- Plant nutrition programs
- Pest and disease management
- Irrigation systems installation and maintenance
- Specialist transplanting, pruning and mowing operations
- Safety protocols and equipment operation

**About You**:

- No prior experience required
- Valid Drivers' licence
- Valid Working With Vulnerable People Check (or be willing to obtain one)
- Valid White Card (or be willing to obtain one)
