At **RP Building**, you’ll work on a range of renovation, extension and new home building projects under the guidance of an experienced builder/carpenter. Considering starting a carpentry apprenticeship?
With RP Building, you’ll undertake a Certificate III in Carpentry, a nationally recognised qualification*. As a Priority Occupation, you’ll be eligible for Government support, including the Australian Apprentice Training Support Payment and Trade Support Loan, helping you to cover living, vehicle and tool expenses while you get started. In a few years, you’ll have an in-demand trade skill, and have learned valuable skills in building and project management, giving you a strong foundation to achieve your career goals.
**What you’ll do**:
You’ll learn through hands-on, exciting work, supporting all manner of residential carpentry (setting out; construction of wall frames, trusses, and flooring systems; installation of fascia, gutters and roof; installation of windows and doors; installation of fixtures, fittings and flooring; demolition and site prep etc).
