Job Description

As a lead solutions engineer, you will be responsible for driving quality and consistency of technical engineered solutions.

The primary focus will be on creating and deploying engineering standards and templates as part of the Engineering Efficiency Programme (EEP) initiatives across various customer portfolios.

You will serve as the customers trusted adviser related to all engineered solutions from an HVAC and overall building perspective.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Have a strong understanding of application knowledge specific to different segments and be an industry regarded thought leader.
  2. Be the technical owner and approver of design from concept to fulfillment, requiring an understanding of industry best practices from both an HVAC and technology perspective.
  3. Deliver presentations and training to internal parties, utilizing strong presentation and communication skills.
  4. Manage all communications to the region about the EEP and its initiatives, as well as feedback from operational staff to the EEP council.
  5. Ensure customer satisfaction and engineering quality are at the forefront of every project, supporting local resources during the sales-to-delivery process with approval signoffs of all engineering solutions.
  6. Participate in monthly project reviews to ensure adherence to the EEP.
  7. Conduct market research and reconnaissance to stay up-to-date on relevant solutions and tools in the ever-changing market.

As a secondary role, you will provide technical support and guidance to the region, covering all functions including Engineering/Service/Sales, for all EEP initiatives and application knowledge.

Requirements
  • Several years of related work experience in application knowledge.
  • Excellent influencing, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Relevant experience in Systems and Service environments, with sales exposure desired but not essential.
  • Engineering and Project Management skills.
  • A proven track record in project engineering, with integrated systems and HVAC application knowledge.
  • Experience in providing training, with certification preferred.
  • Strong PC skills in Excel, Word, and Office.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent Leadership Skills.
  • Sound Organisation and time management skills.
  • Excellent Customer service skills.
