We're looking for volunteers to visit an elderly gentleman living in care. He's after a good mate to chat with, go for a walk, and talk all things rugby league over a cuppa.
As a social visitor, you'll have the opportunity to build a relationship with our resident and enhance their quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit our resident on a regular basis (weekly or fortnightly) for 30 minutes to 1 hour
- Engage in friendly conversation, play games, or watch TV together
- Help reduce feelings of loneliness and isolation
Requirements:
- 18 years or older
- National Volunteer Police Check arranged and paid for by HammondCare
