Pharmacy Technician Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work in the dynamic and fast-paced environment of a pharmacy. As a Pharmacy PBS Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting with the full cycle of prescription management.

We are seeking an administrative professional with exceptional organizational skills who can work autonomously with a high degree of structure. This role offers flexible working days and hours, making it perfect for those who value work-life balance.

  • Prepare and submit PBS claims to Medicare Australia on a regular basis in accordance with PBS Regulations
  • Manage all areas relating to the PBS pharmacy claim including for retail, hospital and IVF services
  • Manage processes that result in accurate billing of medications to hospital patients
  • Manage owing prescriptions, including obtaining and following up on prescriptions requests and reconciliation of prescriptions received
