**The Opportunity**:
We have an exciting full-time 12 month contract opportunity for a Pharmacy Administration Technician to join our Slade Pharmacy team at our state-of-the-art facility in Mount Kuring-Gai. Working Monday to Friday 9:00am - 5:00pm, you will be based in the office where you will provide efficient and effective support to our pharmacy team. Comprehensive training will be offered.

**Key responsibilities**:

- Management of and dispensing prescriptions for allocated hospitals and clinics
- PBS prescription processing under the supervision of pharmacist
- Liaising with health professionals when required
- Support the patient account process and dealing with account enquiries and payments

**Who are we looking for?**

**About you**:

- This is not a pharmacy technician role in the traditional sense, so your experience in administration and clerical work will be equally well regarded
- This is an office based role with a large clerical component so you will be confident in the use of the Office 365 suite
- You will be computer literate and be able to demonstrate an ability to become proficient in use of our pharmacy-specific software
- You will have the ability to focus and concentrate for significant periods given the exacting nature of the role
- You will have a valid Australia driver licence and be prepared to visit and liaise with our customer clinics where required using the pharmacy vehicle.
