Job Overview:

The Team Lead will oversee and support Program Leads in delivering a program for their school site. This includes managing program and project planning, staff management and coordination, and undertaking tasks related to the Program Lead role.

The Team Lead will work closely with students enrolled in the program to enhance school attendance, develop career pathways and work-ready skills, and strengthen cultural pride and identity through life skills, personal development, and long-term resilience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manages, mentors, and coaches Program Leads in their roles.
  • Organises and coordinates resources, events, and activities across programs.
  • Develops and maintains meaningful relationships with stakeholders, staff, and NASCA Management.
  • Works with Program Leads to achieve reporting requirements for the school site.
  • Collaborates with Aboriginal Support staff at the school site to ensure holistic support for young people.
  • Represents NASCA at AECG and Community event meetings as required.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications or experience in teaching, social sciences, youth and community services, Indigenous studies, coaching, or health.
  • Driver's License.
  • Working with Children and AFP clearances.
  • Understanding of issues facing young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
  • Experience in people management and team leading.
