Empowering Lives through Support and Care
We're seeking individuals who can provide practical and emotional support to others, drawing on their own experiences to build rapport and relationships.
This role will enable our clients to remain living independently and comfortably in their own homes. As a Disability Support Worker, you'll play a vital part in enhancing the lives of people with disabilities.
Key Responsibilities:- Providing support and assistance to clients with varying needs
- Engaging in activities such as arts, gardening, cooking, and scrapbooking
- Participating in outdoor activities while understanding physical limitations
- Offering creative, safe, and considerate care
- Being adaptable and possessing strong communication and organisational skills
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Certificate IV in Disability or Diploma of Community Services or equivalent
- Valid NDIS Screening Check
- Full Victorian Driver's License
- Own reliable vehicle
- At least one year experience supporting people with disabilities
- Knowledge of Indian classical music
