Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning and Coordination: Manage and coordinate multiple height safety projects from conception to completion, ensuring adherence to project requirements and company standards.
  • Client and Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure smooth project execution and effective communication.
  • Site Visits and Assessments: Conduct regular site visits to assess project progress and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Develop and review Safety Work Method Statements (SWMS) and other WHS documentation, and compile comprehensive project documentation, including Handover Documentation and compliance records.
  • Project Budgeting and Cost Management: Manage project budgets, monitor expenditures, and prepare cost reports for management review.
  • Team Leadership and Communication: Lead project meetings and provide clear communication to all stakeholders, ensuring effective collaboration and project delivery.

Requirements:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Civil, Mechanical, or related field) or equivalent experience, with a proven track record in the construction industry, particularly in a Project Engineer or similar role.
  • Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of construction processes, Australian Standards, and OHS Regulations, with proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with a high attention to detail, strong communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
