Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Manufacturing Process Specialist to join our team at Cummins. This role will focus on leading the planning, designing, purchasing, and implementation of changes to manufacturing equipment and systems.

About the Role
  • Lead projects to create and implement all aspects of manufacturing processes, ensuring safety requirements, manufacturing goals, business goals, and product specifications are met.
  • Apply knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices to improve manufacturing equipment and processes.
  • Influence key external stakeholders, business leaders, and functional members through effective communication.
  • Maintain relationships with internal and external resources to achieve project objectives.
Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize continuous improvement tools and follow Cummins standards to drive process improvements.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing standards and working methods.
  • Work with internal and external resources on specific project assignments.
  • Apply advanced knowledge of manufacturing principles and practices to drive business results.
Requirements
  • A degree in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • An intermediate level of relevant work experience required.
  • Licenses for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations may be required.
What We Offer

This is a great opportunity to contribute to the continual safety improvement of Brisbane MRC while supporting emerging tooling issues, managing the EASE database and change requests, and managing CMES maintenance and change requests.

The salary range for this position is $80,000-$120,000 per annum, based on location and experience.
