About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Engineer to lead our eMobility technical team at Shell Energy. As a key member of our Agile Scrum Squad, you will be responsible for technical leadership, solution architecture, and engineering excellence.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the technical direction of the eMobility team, ensuring alignment with Shell Energy's strategic plans.
  • Develop and maintain solution architectures for eMobility products and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement cloud-based solutions.
  • Ensure the delivery of high-quality software features, components, and modules that meet key cross-functional requirements.
  • Mentor and coach team members to develop their skills and expertise.
  • Participate in architecture decisions, technology selection, and adoption.
  • Drive the adoption of modern engineering practices, including DevOps, CI/CD, and cloud-native architectures.
  • Monitor and manage the hosted software service, ensuring stability, compatibility, and security.
Requirements
  • Extensive experience in a Senior Engineer role, with a strong background in eMobility, cloud computing, and software engineering.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, including mentoring, coaching, and collaboration.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence broad communities of technical experts.
  • Advanced understanding of security for web applications and network architectures.
  • Experience with virtualisation and cloud solutions, including CSMS architectures and data models.
  • Knowledge of eMobility industry standards, policies, practices, and protocols.
