About the Role

Zimmer Biomet is a global medical technology leader, dedicated to enhancing patient mobility and quality of life. As a State Sales Manager, you will play a critical role in driving sales growth and performance in Victoria.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and direct a team of Sales Associates and Clinical Support Representatives to achieve annual sales targets.
  • Conduct regular performance appraisals and coaching to ensure team members are meeting their goals.
  • Analyze monthly sales results and trends to identify business opportunities and inform strategic decisions.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to secure resources and information needed by the sales team.
  • Manage financial resources, including promotional and state expense budgets.
  • Complete required reports and coordinate external meetings and trade displays.
Requirements
  • Strong working knowledge of Zimmer Biomet and competitor products.
  • Medical device sales and/or sales management experience.
  • Relevant Business or Science degree or equivalent compensating work experience.
  • Proven experience in analyzing sales data, interpreting trends, and developing strategic responses.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop, coach, and manage a sales team, driving high performance and engagement.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to translate complex information into easily understood terms.
  • Commitment to the highest standards of patient safety, quality, and integrity in all business practices.
