Job Overview

The Chief Engineer is responsible for the overall engineering operations of the hotel's systems, plant and equipment. This includes managing the department's team members and ensuring efficient utilization of resources to deliver exceptional guest experiences.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure Australian building compliance requirements are met and act as Chief Fire Warden.
  • Champion hotel environmental and sustainability initiatives and maintain Hilton Brand Standards.
  • Maintain the hotel's assets and ensure seamless facilities management.
What We're Looking For
  • Electrical, Plumbing or Mechanical trade qualified.
  • Advanced knowledge of building management/engineering.
  • Motivated and self-driven with a passion for delivering consistency.
  • Flexibility with rostering and available 24/7 in case of an emergency.
  • High communication and collaborative skills.

The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, be able to work effectively under pressure and have excellent time management skills. They will also be required to work collaboratively with other departments to achieve goals and objectives.
