Hotel Operations Manager

The Chief Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring seamless facilities management, exceptional guest experiences, and compliance with safety and sustainability standards across the hotel's interior and exterior facilities.
- Lead the Engineering Team in daily operations, including service standards, equipment schedules, safety protocols, and work schedules.
- Implement preventative maintenance programs to guarantee all equipment and facilities are functioning optimally.
- Monitor and coordinate services performed by external contractors according to contracts and service agreements.
- Collaborate with departments like Housekeeping and Front Office for streamlined operations.
Main Responsibilities Include:
- Maintaining adherence to local codes and regulations related to safety and environmental standards.
- Conducting regular inspections of buildings and facilities to ensure compliance with Workplace Health & Safety, Fire, or other relevant legislation.
- Managing maintenance expenses, identifying cost-saving measures, and optimizing resource allocation.
- Coordinating renovation bidding, defining scope and budget, and overseeing general contractors and subcontractors.
- Responding promptly to emergencies such as equipment failures or natural disasters.
