We are seeking an experienced Senior Ecologist to join our national Ecology team in Canberra. As a member of our team, you will contribute to our reputation for ecological projects across the ACT and NSW and help grow our service capacity.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have prior experience in terrestrial flora and/or fauna survey experience, including planning surveys and coordinating field teams. They will also have experience in managing medium and large-scale projects, strong stakeholder relationships with clients, government agencies and team members, and collecting and interpreting ecological and spatial data.
Your Skills and Qualifications- Tertiary qualifications in environmental science, botany, zoology or related field
- 5+ years relevant experience
- Terrestrial flora and/or fauna survey experience, including planning surveys and coordinating field teams
- Experience in managing medium and large-scale projects
- Strong stakeholder relationships with clients, government agencies and team members
- Experience in collecting and interpreting ecological and spatial data
- A collaborative environment with growth and development opportunities
