Design Engineer Role Summary

Your new role will see you creating bespoke designs for a leading innovator in the entertainment rigging industry.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and engineering high-performance custom mechanical hoisting solutions that include motors, hoists, gearboxes, clamps & weighing scales for stage rigging applications.
  • Utilizing CAD software to create detailed and accurate designs.
  • Conducting finite element analysis (FEA) and simulations to optimise designs for performance.
  • Ensuring all designs meet strict safety protocols and standards.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Experience in motors, rigging, hoists, gearboxes, motion and lifting mechanisms ideally in the entertainment, industrial or automation sectors.
  • Proven experience in weight calculations, bend force analysis, and CAD/FEA tools.
  • Knowledgeable about safety standards and load cell systems for real-time weight monitoring.
  • A problem-solver with a track record of delivering precision-engineered solutions.
