Joyce Mechanical Services is seeking an experienced High Voltage Electrician to join our team onsite at Dawson mine. This role is focused on supporting a large fleet of Komatsu electric drive haul trucks, ensuring their safe and reliable operation. It's a fantastic opportunity to work as part of a dedicated team on a long-term contract and contribute to the success of a critical fleet.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, fault finding, and repairs on heavy mining equipment with a focus on high voltage systems
- Conduct inspections, testing, and servicing in line with site requirements and standards
- Support planned and unplanned maintenance activities to ensure asset reliability
- Adhere to site and company safety, environmental, and quality procedures
About You:
- High Voltage Electrical qualification (QLD Electrical Licence)
- Current HV Switching ticket (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience with Komatsu 830E and/or 930E haul trucks highly regarded
- Sound understanding of mining industry safety requirements and standards
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
