Job Title: Operational Excellence Specialist

Key Responsibilities: As an Operational Excellence Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless functioning of mission-critical environments, coordinating and streamlining operational processes, and sustaining client relationships.
  • Ensure continuous infrastructure availability and institute organizational structure to improve communication and overall project management.
  • Coordinate and streamline operational process, procedure and reporting across multiple sites.
  • Support the Program Manager in reviewing business systems administration, resources, procedures and methods to improve operational effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Sustain and enhance client relationships through consistent communication, providing updates on initiatives and suggesting enhancements.
  • Provide and lead an appropriately skilled workforce to carry out the functions of the Statement of Work.
  • Responsible for community of support during Contractor personnel change, interfacing with Contracting Officer Representative (COTR) and Government Purchase Ordering Contact (GPOC).
  • Deliver all site-specific contract requirements and coordinate, supervise, and plan total work effort associated with renovations and capital improvement work.
  • Establish procedures, develop, and implement programs for Mission critical and increase efficiencies.
  • Act as central point of contact for COTR or GPOC for facilities-related work.
  • Responsible for notifying GPOC on significant events, ability to compile summaries of events, critical actions accomplished, plans for completion or remediation and brief to site management in various forums.
  • Responsible for management of Work Orders, including resource management and interfacing with customer representatives.
  • Adhere to contractual terms to prevent revenue loss and maximize financial outcomes.
  • Systematically manage risks by conducting regular evaluations and pinpoint substantial business risks for the organization.
  • Anticipate future client needs and on-contract growth opportunities by conducting thorough onsite assessments and proposing comprehensive project strategies.
  • Utilize analytical tools and methodologies to assess client organizations and guide transformation to their future state.
  • Advocate for quality and safety culture throughout program aspects.
  • Institute processes and protocols to accurately track and report data across all sites and ensure compliance with contractual reporting requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in business operations management, with a focus on process improvement and optimization.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles, including Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interface with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and develop effective solutions.
  • Experience with risk management and mitigation strategies.
  • Knowledge of contractual terms and conditions, including those related to government contracts.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
