Fleet Financial Analyst

Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Cost Controller to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for scrutinizing, challenging, and authorizing costs of daily jobs, managing estimate/authorization workflow via portals, emails, and phone calls, resolving queries in a timely manner, chasing suppliers on responses to queries, and analyzing fleet costs to identify areas for improvement or cost-saving measures.
Key Responsibilities:

• Scrutinize, challenge, and authorize costs of up to 100 daily jobs
• Manage estimate/authorization workflow via portals, emails, and phone calls
• Resolve queries in a timely manner and chase suppliers on responses to queries
• Pull open job/WIP reports to chase down suppliers on outstanding costs and invoices
• Check for any manufacturer recalls or knowledge articles to support with repair costs
• Check historical repairs for repeat repairs and misdiagnosis of defects
• Check service records to ensure vehicle is maintained to manufacturers recommended guidelines
• Analyze fleet costs and identify any areas for improvement or cost-saving measures

Requirements:

• Experience working in a fast-paced and demanding customer environment
• Self-motivated and able to communicate clearly in both verbal and written formats
• Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision
• Well-organized and able to take ownership of tasks
• Good IT skills and understanding of Microsoft packages, particularly Excel
