Job Summary:
The Director, Site Operations Australia role involves leading operations across the APAC region and overseeing the Biospecimen Operations line of business. This position ensures operational excellence in accessioning, biorepository management, clinical kit building, and related functions.

Key Responsibilities:
• Serve as a confident leader aligned with our mission and values
• Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to support infrastructure, systems, and personnel for scalable operations
• Establish performance metrics and KPIs aligned with corporate standards
• Promote a culture of trust, flexibility, and accountability
• Lead and develop team members to drive performance and engagement
• Foster strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners
• Develop and maintain positive relationships with key business partners
• Communicate regularly with the Global Central Lab Services Lead and other senior leaders
• Develop strategic plans for start-up, growth, and expansion of clinical central lab operations across the APAC region
• Lead recruitment, training, and retention efforts to build a high-performing team

Biospecimen Operations and Clinical Trial Materials:
Directly manage accessioning, biorepository, and kit building teams across APAC. Accurately forecast labor needs and manage resources to meet operational demands.

Education and Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; an advanced degree is strongly preferred. Minimum 10 years of relevant experience, including 3 years in a management role within a clinical or central laboratory environment.

Skills and Abilities:
Proven leadership skills with a broad business orientation
Expert operations management experience
Strong operational management and strategic planning skills
Financial acumen with experience in budgeting and cost control
Deep understanding of clinical trial lifecycle and laboratory processes
Regulatory compliance expertise
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
