Job Title: Google Analytics Consultant
Job Summary:
The Asylum Seekers Centre's communications team is seeking a volunteer to support our Google Analytics needs. This role is ideal for individuals with professional experience or extensive familiarity with Google Analytics who wish to offer their skills and/or services in-kind to help guide ASC in improving the functionality and user experience of its website.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop a strategy for the use of Google Analytics within the Asylum Seekers Centre.
- Configure Google Analytics properties to best capture necessary data, liaising with the communications and IT team as needed.
- Regularly health-check the Google Analytics account.
- Share monthly insights on data, trends, and suggestions for the communications team.
Requirements:
- Experience using, optimising, and reporting with Google Analytics.
- Experience in WordPress.
- Experience in Google Ads (desirable).
- SEO experience (desirable).
- Ability to analyse traffic and find opportunities and insights.
- Experience in working with people from various backgrounds and cultures.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other staff and volunteers.
- Ability to adhere to policies concerning code of conduct, boundaries, and confidentiality.

- Support a child-safe organisation by undertaking screening for suitability to work with children and vulnerable people and to comply with relevant state/territory legislative requirements.
