Job Title: Support Worker

Yumaro offers a unique opportunity to work in community services, supporting individuals with disabilities. As a support worker, you will be responsible for providing daily living tasks and social services to our clients.

About the Role:

This is an exciting role for anyone passionate about working with diverse individuals and groups. You will have the opportunity to build relationships with residents, families, colleagues, and stakeholders while delivering high-quality support services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and daily living tasks to clients in their homes.
  • Offer community support, including assistance with household chores and transportation.
  • Work in independent living complexes, supporting residents with daily activities.
  • Deliver social services, including community outings and day programs.
  • Contribute to capacity-building programs, helping participants develop life skills and confidence.
  • Assist with support coordination, navigating services such as education, health, and housing.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with diverse individuals and groups.
  • Ability to build relationships with residents, families, colleagues, and stakeholders.
  • Hold a current full NSW driver's license.
  • Have or be able to obtain a NSW NDIS Workers Screening check.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Recent qualification or studying towards one in Individual Support.
  • Experience in Community Services.
  • Experience providing disability supports.
