We are seeking a skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to lead our nursing team in delivering exceptional patient care. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to support and mentor staff with planning, assessment, implementation, and evaluation of evidence-based patient care.
">Job Description- The successful candidate will demonstrate professional practice by adhering to AHPRA standards, code of ethics and conduct, legislative requirements, and Healthscope's policies and processes.
- They will foster a learning environment through clinical presentations, maintain professional learning and continuous professional development, and provide supervision and teaching to peers, ENs, graduates, and students.
- Act as a valued member of the inter-disciplinary team to provide exceptional patient care by actively contributing to team processes and practices.
- Collaborate with external partners to ensure patients receive high-quality care across the healthcare continuum.
- Maintain professional relationships with VMO partners using a customer service mindset to enable high-quality patient outcomes.
The ideal candidate will have current AHPRA registration and minimum 3-5 years' experience in ED with strong clinical experience and knowledge in resuscitation, triage, and team leader roles. They will also hold a Post Graduate Certificate in Emergency Nursing or be working towards it, with an understanding of Australian National Commission in Quality and Safety Ten National Standards.
