Crane Operator Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced crane operator to join our team. As a key member of our operations, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient movement of objects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate a crane to lift and move objects with precision and accuracy.
  • Deliver and pick-up props from sites, adhering to timely and accurate transportation schedules.
  • Maintain props and stock counts of precast materials, upholding quality standards.
  • Inspect crane equipment and perform routine maintenance to prevent downtime and optimize performance.
  • Ensure all loads are within approved limits, prioritizing safety and compliance.
  • Load and unload precast materials using heavy machinery, demonstrating proficiency and expertise.
  • Perform general collection and transport of other items as directed by management.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Possess a valid Heavy Combination Truck Licence and High Risk Forklift License.
  • Demonstrate a minimum of 2 years experience working in a similar role, showcasing expertise in mechanical and technical activities.
  • Display ability to focus and concentrate for extended periods, maintaining high levels of productivity and efficiency.
  • Exhibit excellent spatial thinking and distance judgment, ensuring accurate object placement and positioning.
  • Ability to develop, improve, and follow procedures and standards, promoting a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Confident and respectful communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with diverse team members.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and drive results-oriented solutions.
