As a Construction Project Manager, you will oversee multiple new home builds concurrently. You will lead a team to allocate materials and trades to job sites effectively, ensuring timely construction within set parameters.

About the Role
  • Manage up to 8-12 houses in construction at any one time, including single and double-storey homes.
  • Allocate resources to job sites efficiently.
  • Ensure construction is carried out safely and complies with industry standards.
  • Inspect completed projects to ensure high-quality standards.
  • Maintain and update systems for streamlined operations.
  • Report to management regarding onsite activity.
  • Negotiate with subcontractors and coordinate onsite works.
  • Identify and resolve problems throughout the construction process.
Requirements
  • A minimum of 1-2 years' experience as a Construction Site Supervisor or similar role.
  • Tertiary qualifications in building and construction.
  • A trade background is highly advantageous.
  • Demonstrated experience within the construction sector with excellent building knowledge.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Able to build strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Proven track record of problem-solving.
  • A team player.
  • Excellent IT skills and computer literacy with construction-specific software packages.
  • Commitment to workplace health and safety principles and practices.
