We are seeking a dedicated and experienced individual to fill the role of Lifestyle Coordinator.
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing specialised activity programmes and social activities to promote the psychological, social and physical wellbeing of our residents. This role also involves overseeing a team of lifestyle assistants and working collaboratively with residential managers and other stakeholders.
Responsibilities:- Design and implement engaging activity programmes and social events to enhance resident satisfaction and wellbeing
- Lead and manage a team of lifestyle assistants to ensure seamless service delivery
- Collaborate effectively with the residential manager and other teams to achieve shared objectives
- Proven experience in managing a team or supervising staff members
- Previous experience working within an aged care environment or similar sector
- Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain on employment
- Excellent communication, documentation and organisational skills
- Strong IT skills and proficiency in relevant software
- Empathy and understanding of the needs of older adults
- Compliance with NDIS requirements and COVID-19 vaccination policies
Certificate IV in Lifestyle and Leisure is essential for this role.
