We are seeking a dedicated and experienced teacher to join our team at Chisholm Institute of TAFE. As a Casual Teacher EAL/AMEP, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality education practices and delivery sessions that engage learners effectively.
Key Responsibilities- Curriculum Development: Plan and develop teaching materials and resources that meet regulatory standards, training packages, and related requirements.
- Teaching and Learning: Establish and maintain a positive learning environment, encouraging students to take responsibility for their own learning, and adapt learning and assessment materials to cater to different students, environments, and resources.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Undertake various administrative, coordination, and learning services activities directly related to the areas taught, assist in establishing, maintaining, and reviewing teaching programs, and maintain a respectful and safe environment free from discrimination, bullying, and harassment.
To succeed in this role, you should possess well-developed skills in transferring knowledge, including research, selecting, and using a wide range of learning resources and assessment tools. Your tertiary qualification in a 3-year Australian undergraduate degree or equivalent is essential, along with registration with relevant professional bodies and a record of vocational competency and professional currency.
