At AccountAbility, we're seeking a skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team in Sydney.

Salary: The estimated annual salary for this role is between $70,000 and $75,000 + superannuation benefits.

About the Role:

  • We're looking for an experienced professional to manage our end-to-end Accounts Payable process, ensuring timely and accurate payments to our vendors.
  • You will be responsible for payment runs, matching and coding invoices, managing company credit cards and expenses, statement reconciliations, and maintaining the AP inbox.
  • You'll work closely with our Finance Manager to provide support and contribute to ad-hoc duties as needed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the full Accounts Payable process, from receipt of invoices to payment processing.
  • Ensure accurate and efficient payment runs, including matching and coding invoices, and reconciling statements.
  • Monitor and manage company credit cards and expenses, ensuring compliance with accounting policies and procedures.
  • Maintain the AP inbox, responding to vendor inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the Finance Manager to provide support on ad-hoc tasks and projects as required.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in Accounts Payable or a related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues and external stakeholders.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Australian citizenship or permanent residency is required for this position.
