Head of Business Operations

This is a senior leadership role responsible for ensuring the organisation operates in compliance with all relevant policies and procedures.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide expertise and advice on critical business support functions to enable effective functioning of the Board, sub-committees and staff.
Oversee and deliver preparation of relevant papers and minutes for all Board and sub-committee meetings.Review By Laws, constitutional changes, and maintain the Risk Register and risk framework.Oversee finance and integrity functions to ensure sound financial management.Embed a culture of child safeguarding and influence stakeholders.Oversee the Business Optimisation & Data Lead to review internal systems, processes, and reporting.Influence and contribute directly to the organisation's culture, striving to positively display values daily and associated behaviours.About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A qualification in Law/Governance, Business Management, Human Resources or other relevant field.
  • Previous experience in a role with a strong focus on policy, governance, integrity, finance, risk and compliance.
  • Strong financial acumen and experience in managing budgets.
  • Experience in effective stakeholder management and communications.
  • A love of sport and a strong desire to contribute significantly to the growth of tennis.
  • A current Police Check and Working with Children Check (or be willing to obtain).
  • Preparedness to be flexible in regard to working hours and arrangements relating to work.
