Senior Financial Strategist Role

We are seeking a seasoned finance professional to join our Technology function as a Senior Financial Strategist. This is an exciting opportunity to leverage your commercial acumen and financial expertise to drive business growth and success.

This role will involve leading the budgeting and forecasting processes for Technology, ensuring alignment with business strategy and commercial priorities. You will be responsible for delivering accurate and timely reports, budgets, and forecasts with clear articulation of risks, opportunities, and drivers.

As a trusted finance partner across the function, you will deliver financial insights, influence decisions, and support delivery of commercial targets. You will also perform deep dives on financial and operations analysis to uncover business performance drivers, identify opportunities, and support continuous improvement.

You will evaluate business initiatives through business cases, white papers, and post-implementation reviews. Additionally, you will support long-term planning and strategic goal setting, including governance tracking of key business KPIs and financial objectives.

In this role, you will lead and develop high-performing team members, support development and succession planning. You will foster a culture of learning, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:
  • 10+ years' experience in a Commercial Finance Manager role or Finance Business Partner role specifically partnering with Technology.
  • Professional accounting qualification (CA, CPA, or CFA).
  • Proven track record of driving results and delivering insights that contribute to business success.
  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in financial modeling and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively across departments.
  • Demonstrated ability balancing strong commercial acumen and understanding of value drivers within a business with financial governance and pragmatism.
