At our airport, we are currently seeking a highly skilled Baggage Operations Coordinator to join our team. In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing the safe and efficient operations of our baggage handling systems.

The successful candidate will actively monitor the planning and allocation of resources within the baggage system, ensuring that all activities are conducted in accordance with established procedures and protocols.

Key responsibilities will include liaising with airlines and the Baggage Handling System contractor to coordinate daily flight schedules, monitoring the status of incoming aircraft to predict high volumes of baggage, and coordinating with the BSP to ensure adequate staffing of essential resources.

You will also be required to monitor storage capacity, manual encode resource requirements, and performance metrics to ensure optimal efficiency and effectiveness.

About You

  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in airport baggage systems operations or related field.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
