We are seeking an individual with previous experience in a legal, commercial or contracts environment to review and assess contracts proposed by clients or subconsultants. This role involves liaising with the business with respect to negotiating key clauses and dealing with general contract queries from the business units.

The successful candidate will have strong drafting skills and attention to detail when reviewing and assisting with legal documents. They will also be comfortable with taking ownership of all tasks while managing deadlines that constantly change.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who is keen to learn and curious about the meaning and effect of contract clauses. The ideal candidate will have prior law firm, in-house experience or experience in a contract management or review role.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Reviewing and assessing contracts proposed by clients or subconsultants
  • Liaising with the business with respect to negotiating key clauses
  • Dealing with general contract queries from the business units
  • Assisting with review of project correspondence on claims
  • Preparation of legal documents, forms and contracts

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous experience in a legal, commercial or contracts environment
  • Strong drafting skills and attention to detail
  • A positive and proactive attitude and ability to connect with stakeholders throughout the business
  • Ability to work well under pressure and manage deadlines effectively
