Event Management Opportunity

We are seeking an exceptional Event Coordinator to lead our Events team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in coordinating and developing major events in the public or private sector, with excellent knowledge of the festival and event industry.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing event delivery and funding opportunities to maximise the value of events to the local community and as an economic driver for the region. They will also lead, mentor and motivate staff to achieve positive business outcomes with a One Team approach.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience coordinating and developing major events in the public or private sector;
  • Demonstrated experience in assessing event delivery and funding opportunities;
  • Ability to lead, mentor and motivate staff;
  • Working knowledge of legislation, codes and standards that relate to Events management and ensure compliance.
