Service Desk Engineer

We are looking for an experienced and qualified IT professional who has a deep understanding of Managed Services and the needs of small to medium businesses. The ideal candidate will have a passion for learning new technologies, enjoy a fast-paced environment, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

About the Role

This is a challenging opportunity to join our team as a Service Desk Engineer, providing level 1 and 2 remote and onsite support to our clients. The role involves resolving technical challenges across the client's IT environment, including problem management, to ensure root cause issues are addressed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert-level technical support to clients via phone, email, or on-site visits.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues related to desktops, laptops, servers, and network devices.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their business objectives and provide tailored solutions.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technologies and industry trends to continually improve service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a help desk or technical support role.
  • Previous experience working in a technical role for an MSP or similar organization.
  • Advanced understanding of end-user support, Active Directory, Windows Server, Azure, and Exchange.
  • All-around knowledge of technical infrastructure, including desktop, firewall, LAN, and WAN networking.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
