About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to work at the forefront of event security, ensuring the safety and security of attendees, staff, and property at major events across the Melbourne region.
We are seeking professional and dedicated Security Officers with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle high-pressure situations with confidence.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide crowd control and ensure the safety of attendees at large-scale events.
- Monitor entry points, conduct bag checks, and enforce event access policies.
- Respond quickly and effectively to security incidents or emergencies.
- Collaborate with event staff and law enforcement to manage potential risks.
- Maintain a visible presence to deter disruptive behavior or unauthorized access.
- Ensure compliance with event-specific security protocols and procedures.
Requirements
- Current VIC Security licence with crowd control
- Certificate II in Security Operations
- Current First Aid certificate
- Dedication, reliability, and a commitment to security
- Physically fit and able to walk and stand for prolonged periods
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with approachability
- High level computer literacy skills
- The ability to work with minimal supervision and within a team environment
