Property Manager

At Hockingstuart, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Property Manager to join our team. As a Property Manager, you will be responsible for the overall management of residential and commercial properties on behalf of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct regular routine inspections to ensure properties are well-maintained and report any issues to clients.
  • Monitor rent arrears and take prompt action to resolve any disputes.
  • Manage tenancy renewals, including negotiating rent increases and preparing lease agreements.
  • Issue and follow up on property maintenance work orders to ensure timely completion.
  • Conduct entry and exit inspection reports to document property condition.
  • Issue breach notices and other notices as required to maintain a positive tenant relationship.
  • Manage bond refunds and ensure accurate accounting.
  • Liaise with the Leasing Officer to list available properties for rent and provide regular feedback to clients.
  • Prepare lease agreements, bond forms, and other necessary documents.
  • Represent clients in Tribunal claims and ensure accurate filing of documents.
Requirements:
  • Licence or Certificate of Registration.
  • Previous Property Management experience.
  • Experience with Property Me.
  • Excellent time management and communication skills.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Motor vehicle and licence.
