Procurement Specialist, Indirect Categories
You will be responsible for the procurement of in-direct materials and services for KCA. Key areas of spend include marketing, professional services, mill services, and IT across Australia and New Zealand, with a total spend under control of circa $70-$90 million.
Key Responsibilities
The role will require stakeholder management of procurement and non-procurement staff members and building professional and cooperative relationships. The role reports into the ANZ Procurement Leader and is based in our North Sydney offices.
Leveraging suppliers is key to KC's success, so experience in supplier management and new vendor identification is paramount. As is contract negotiation, which will enable KC to meet our quality, cost, and delivery needs while ensuring adherence to KC purchasing and corporate policies.

About You
- To be successful in this role, you will bring forward demonstrated experience in an indirect procurement role within either a global or sizeable organization.
- 3-5 years+ of procurement experience.
- You hold effective communication, both written and verbal skills, and be highly confident in engaging in discussions with senior leadership.

The role requires developing strong and influential relationships with internal stakeholders in country, especially with the Marketing team and local suppliers, by translating business requirements into procurement strategy that provides quantitative and qualitative value.
