About the Role:

This role will involve collaborating with various stakeholders, including Australian Apprentices, Employers and Departmental staff to deliver services that meet agreed standards within an account management approach.

The primary focus of this position is on meeting minimum monthly sign-up targets while providing consistent, accurate information on apprenticeship conditions, rights, obligations, qualifications and training providers.

Key Responsibilities:

Administering sign-ups face-to-face (including electronically), resulting in completed Training Contracts signed by all parties; assessing suitability of Australian Apprentices for the apprenticeship; conducting LLND checks; performing risk assessments on likelihood of successful completion; checking ADMS for flagged employers and assessing their support needs; recording and reporting outcomes in line with standards.

Delivering services to agreed standards; building and maintaining relationships with schools and key employers; identifying business growth opportunities; monitoring customer satisfaction via Net Promoter Score.

Evaluating interest in Mentoring and Support Services at sign-up to aid completion; conducting Progress Contacts where mentoring services have not been received.

Requirements:

An understanding of the Australian Apprenticeship System is preferred; proven ability to build rapport with key-stakeholders, including but not limited to Australian Apprentices, Employers, the Department and State or Territory Training Authorities; strong communication, liaison and networking capabilities; proficient skills in MS Office, and the ability to use external computer-based databases; the ability to interpret Government guidelines and related VET legislation; business development experience highly regarded.
