Aboriginal Women’s Care Initiative

We are seeking a dedicated professional to deliver culturally safe, trauma-informed care in a therapeutic, all-female residential program.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide Culturally Safe Care: Deliver culturally sensitive case management services to our clients.
  • Support Relapse Prevention: Assist clients with relapse prevention, harm reduction, and wellbeing programs.
  • Build Strong Connections: Foster strong connections with clients and their families, promoting a sense of community and belonging.
  • Conduct Assessments: Conduct thorough assessments and maintain accurate case notes, ensuring the highest level of care for our clients.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
  • Certificate IV in Community Services: Hold a Certificate IV in Community Services (AOD) or a related qualification.
  • Experience in AOD Settings: Have experience in case management within AOD, therapeutic, or community settings.
  • Cultural Awareness: Possess strong communication and cultural awareness skills, enabling you to work effectively with diverse client groups.
  • Diversity and Inclusion: Female-identifying candidates are highly encouraged to apply.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Hold a driver’s licence, Ochre Card, and Police Check.
