The successful candidate can expect a competitive annual salary of AU$120,000 - AU$180,000, depending on experience.

About the Role

This is a site-based project role that requires the ability to draw upon previous experience in mine planning, design, and scheduling. The ideal candidate will possess relevant tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering and have a solid working knowledge of open-cut and open-pit mining operations.

  • Key responsibilities include short- and medium-term mine design, daily to long-term planning and scheduling, operations and site-based technical support, technical analysis and assessment, and report writing.
  • The successful candidate will be required to work FIFO from Brisbane and must hold valid unrestricted Australian working rights.
Requirements

To be considered for this role, applicants should have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Mining Engineering
  • Solid working knowledge and experience in open-cut/open-pit mining operations
  • Recent operational engineering experience in drill & blast, truck and shovel, scheduling and planning
  • Proficiency in the use of mine design and scheduling software, particularly Vulcan, Alastri, Deswik, Minescape, XPAC, and XACT
