Design Documenter Position Overview

The role of a Design Documenter involves creating high-quality design documentation and coordinating projects to ensure timely delivery in line with project briefs.

Main Responsibilities
  • Producing Design Packages: Develop comprehensive design packages in accordance with project requirements.
  • Third-Party Coordination: Collaborate with third-party consultants and relevant authorities to ensure effective project execution.
  • Communication and Project Standards: Ensure effective communication and coordination among team members, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Project Administration: Manage project administration processes for transmittals, submittals, and design models.
  • Documentation Compliance: Verify that documentation complies with specifications, building codes, and contract requirements.
  • Peer Review: Provide peer review of documentation and work collaboratively with team members to achieve quality standards.
Requirements
  • Professional Experience: Possess 3+ years of experience in a professional design environment.
  • Educational Qualifications: Hold a qualification in Architecture, Building Design, or a related field.
  • Drawing Package Preparation: Demonstrate the ability to prepare accurate drawing packages from concept to construction.
  • Stakeholder Interaction: Show proficiency in interacting with stakeholders, including clients, building surveyors, and consultants.
  • Communication Skills: Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Time Management: Exhibit the ability to use time productively and maximize efficiency.
  • Technical Proficiency: Have a strong working knowledge of Revit and proficient use of MS Office.
