Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated professional to lead our Patient Safety Improvement Unit. This role will play a key part in developing and implementing patient safety and clinical improvement initiatives within our healthcare system.

 

The successful candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualification in a health discipline or extensive recent clinical experience in complex healthcare settings relevant to clinical governance.
  • Understanding and application of clinical governance concepts, including patient safety, clinical risk management, quality improvement, and patient experience management.
  • Strong analytical problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Presentation skills and ability to provide training and education on patient safety issues to clinical and clinical support staff.
  • Superior written and oral communication skills with ability to produce comprehensive reports.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to communicate, consult, and negotiate effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Experience working with clinical staff in complex healthcare organisations and peer leadership skills to motivate and develop staff in a multidisciplinary environment.
