About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychologist to join our Child and Youth Mental Health Services (CYMHS) team. The successful candidate will have expertise in delivering Neurodevelopmental assessments and therapeutic interventions for children and adolescents.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Clinical Psychologist with a strong background in evidence-based practice, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

">Key Responsibilities
  1. Deliver high-quality Neurodevelopmental assessments and interventions for children and adolescents, ensuring comprehensive and effective treatment plans.
  2. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to provide seamless care for patients.
  3. Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and their families, promoting trust and confidence in the CYMHS service.
  4. Contribute to the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives, ensuring continuous growth and excellence in mental health care.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification/program of study approved by the Psychology Board of Australia
  • Registered with the Psychology Board of Australia
  • Current Working with Children Registration
  • Area of Practice Endorsement ie, Clinical Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology, Counselling Psychology, Community Psychology, Educational and Developmental Psychology, Forensic Psychology, Health Psychology, Organisational Psychology, or Sport and Exercise Psychology
